Battleaxe 1 - Lingmoor from Baysbrown campsite

99 competitors, 4 people getting all 20 controls within the hour.

There were plenty of compliments for Martin's score course on the very steep hillside of Lingmoor, its knolly, rocky and marshy top and its lovely wooded slopes.

A fine evening brought out plenty of folk, lets hope this continues for the next three events.

By far the most onerous task for any organiser is to find people willing to collect controls after the event. If you think you could offer to help please let the organiser know, as five people collecting four controls each takes only a short time.
